I have been using not606 for a while, gave up on ja606 - if you see my last contribution on there you'll see that the admin more or less told me not to bother, so I didn't. I can't say I really like not606, very cliquey, but mito, hoke, PMK and StJohn are all there so it's something. I miss the old 606!

To think Kenny got the boot after winning the CL and getting to the FA Cup final and we're still harbouring a manager whose team rolls over to a crappy side like Oldham! And they are crap because they're struggling in their league!
All I get is we must stand behind the manager because he's young and has vision - rubbish. He can't see past the end of his nose! The team didn't know how to handle the physical end of the game. There was just no answer from Rodgers.
And that takes me to the farces v Arsenal and Citeh.
We're up 2-0 v Arsenal and in five minutes it was unravelled by rubbish in defence. Again. WTF is he doing to sort that problem out? Nothing! As Carra is retiring PLEASE can he kick out the meff of a defence coach and give the job to Carra 'cos whatever's happening there isn't working and won't work once Carra finally hangs up his boots.
To be fair there has been improvement this season. Sturridge coming in has been a bonus - although I was expecting a few more buys in January, but yeah, disappointed again. What happened to Ince? But we're turning around wins versus the teams we should be beating, ie Norwich.
But top 4? Forget it. We can't hold a lead against the teams above us - hate that one of those is everton! - and they're all forging ahead. Can't see the Spuds dropping points and Arsenal seem to have nine lives. if we don't get CL next season Suarez will be offski. High time some of the Rodgers fans faced facts. | |

Saw your post about your friend's son, so glad he's getting better. Age is on his side, young people heal much quicker.
Meanwhile, Derek...as far as I can see only you, I and Johnson's post on it. I've not seen St John's on here for a long time and he's the admin!
Could be that it's a LFC only site and everyone misses the rows with rival fans.

Well 'Bucko me boy' is reportedly pointing fingers at the youngsters. I point the finger at Buck. I do not understand his tactic of waiting until we are chasing the game, often a lost cause, before putting on the people who should have been on from the start. Get us in the lead and then give the yougsters a run out. The looks on Gerrard and Carragher's faces spoke volumes for me.

I found not606 difficult to navigate and mostly went on ja606 because of familiarity of style more than anything else. I haven't been on ja606 since about early October and not beeen on not606 for much longer.
At the end of last year I got an email from not606 asking me to go back ( a standard email no doubt for all those who haven't participated for a while) .... so .... I thought I would give it another go and went on there this week. It is very frustrating waiting for pages to load and not being able to see your own list of comments or other peoples' with ease (I'm sure there's a way to do it that I just haven't found!). Some good people on there - mito, StJohn Red Legend, Page Moss Kopite, ForedeckDave and Sea Hoke joined a while ago but didn't go on there much because of work. I think he may be back on now with a user name containing the word 'milk' (can't just think of the whole name but he had a few names with 'milk' in on the BBC) - but conversations just don't happen like on ja or BBC as it's quite slow going from page to page. Like you I miss the banter sometimes! I think wishi's given up on both as I don't do FB or twitter I only get to chat to her (and you) on this forum. It would be great if someone started a new forum for all the old gang, we had some right laughs with Sea Hoke and Imp etc. | |
